Kia ora whānau, I just wanted to let you all know where we are at currently with regard to the current public health situation. We are following updates every day and the situation is subject to change at short notice.
Currently we are continuing to meet to play on Wed and Sun, as usual, subject to the following conditions:
1) When you arrive at the BW Centre, before joining in play, use the hand sanitiser at the Pro Shop, or go to the changing rooms and thoroughly wash your hands.
2) If you are ill, please don’t come to club.
3) We will use our own shuttles, please don’t use the Centre’s practice shuttles.
4) Physical distancing, keep your own space and no ‘high fives’ at the end of games, tap your racquets instead 🏸
5) If you have been at club and develop symptoms, please follow the public health guidelines (see below) and also let me know, so that we can assist with contact tracing.
I am in touch with the BW Centre and will update you if their situation changes significantly.

I know some folk are anxious about what is going on, feel free to chat to me or another committee member if you are concerned. Physical distancing doesn’t mean social isolation, let’s all stay connected and look after one another (at club and in general) at this time. If there is any change in our current situation I will let you know immediately.
