Membership

We play on Wednesdays 6 – 7:30pm and Sundays 1pm – 3pm. You’re welcome to come along to one or both sessions, how much it costs will depend on if you are a club member (or not) and what type of membership you have.

New Membership Structure and fees for 2026

This year we are updating our membership structure to get a clearer picture of who are members of the club. This will also allow us to track and send more targeted information to ‘club members’ as we will have a dedicated list of who those people are.

We are introducing an annual ‘Club Membership’ fee of $30 to become a member of Wellington Racqueteers. The new membership year will run from February to Dec/Jan (which we treat as 1 month because of the Christmas closure). A person can become a member of the club by paying the club membership fee at any point during the calendar year.

The current annual membership fee will become an ‘Annual Club Play’ fee and this automatically includes club membership as part of the fee, from 2027 the Annual Club Play fee will be able to be purchased at any point during the year – but it is only valid for that calendar year and will have to be renewed from February the following year.

Benefits of becoming a ‘Club Member’:

• Only club members can use the ‘pay monthly’ option ($35/$50 for 1 or 2 days’ play per week).
• Club member casual rate of $12.50 per session

New non-member casual rate will be $15 per session (starting from 1 June 2026).

We are not increasing our rates in 2026, apart from the introduction of the new non-member casual rate. Current annual memberships that are due in 2026 will be pro-rata (at the 2025 rate) until the end of the 2026 membership year, so they will be $345 for 2 days play per week and $245 for 1 day’s play per week, which covers you until the end of January 2027. These will only be available until the 31 May 2026.

From February 2027 – January 2028, Annual Club Play fees will be $460 (2 days’ play/week) and $330 (1 day’s play/week).

We are committed to keeping costs to a minimum, and our club remains competitively priced compared to others.

All member (and non-member) casual fees should be paid BEFORE you play, and can be paid into the below account – make sure you’ve got your name and last name initial (as it is in OUR computer system), and date played (if appropriate) in the details of the transfer.

For example: a casual player’s reference would read: John S 1704 (or 17/4), a monthly player’s reference would read: John S April
