Not returning to play just yet

Kia ora folks,

Just an update re returning to play. The BW Centre will be open from tomorrow, for limited prebooked sessions.

Clubs (like us) won’t be returning to normal play until after Queen’s Birthday weekend, as long as the next couple of weeks go smoothly and perhaps the alert level goes down.

So this means we will return to play as a club on the Wednesday after QB weekend at the earliest.

Individuals can book courts from tomorrow but please bear in mind that you can only have a maximum of 4 people booked for your court, you are not allowed to have spectators or mix with other courts.

Not all courts will be available, I think it will be 2, 4, 6, and maybe 7&/or8.

You will also need to provide contact details for all the people coming in your group, and follow all the BW Centre hygiene protocols.

The committee are meeting this week and will get back to you with more information about returning to play and the AGM very soon.

I’ll email this out to everyone and put it on the website tomorrow (when I’m back at work, yay!).
